Some projects leave an indelible impression and working on Joya Spa Montelucia did just that. With the irrepressible developer, Robert Flaxman, brilliant and elegantly flamboyant Managing Director, Valeriano Antonioli, and the  boundlessly creative Mark Philp and his incredibly talented team handling architecture and design, we could not go wrong.

Add the drop dead gorgeous, sharp as a tack, opening Spa Director, Sabrina Cormack, and the awesome Ops Manager, Kirk Gregor, who created story and rituals, Joya Spa was a hit from the day it opened.

​

Flaxman's Andalusian and Moroccan influences led the concept and our whole design team jumped right in.

 

The Alhambra-like entry, meaningful ceremony at every juncture, the Hammam, the shocking surprise in the wet area, and a fitness experience that rivals any club in town are just a few of the noteworthy elements of this 19 treatment room, 31,000 sq ft spa.
